Who is responsible?
PsychCare Online Services Ltd (company number 16544050), Regus House, Victory Way, Crossways Business Park, Dartford DA2 6QD, is responsible for this website’s personal information. Bytecode Consulting supports the website on the clinic’s behalf. Contact the clinic at admin@psychcareonline.co.uk or 01322 223910 about this notice or your information.
When you browse
Amazon Web Services hosts the website. Its origin is in London, while CloudFront can deliver pages from locations around the world. Connection details such as your IP address, browser and requested page are processed to deliver the site and protect it from misuse. The clinic relies on its legitimate interests in providing and securing this website for this necessary processing. Search suggestions run in your browser; search words are not sent to a site search service. Read AWS privacy information.
Storage on your device
Your browser stores your optional-content choice under psychcare-consent-v2 for up to 180 days and an install-suggestion dismissal under psychcare-install-suggestion-v1 for 30 days. Expired values are ignored, although they may remain until your browser removes them. The installed app may keep a small public offline recovery page, its styling, script and clinic icon until an update or removal of site data. It does not cache enquiry entries, responses or the pages you browse. You can remove this site data in your browser settings.
Optional Google map
The map stays disconnected until you allow it in Cookie settings and separately select Show Google map on Contact. Google then receives connection information, including your IP address and browser details, and may use cookies. Hiding the map stops it displaying but cannot remove information or cookies Google already received. Get directions opens Google Maps as an external website. Read Google’s privacy policy.
Optional TrustedSite badge
The TrustedSite certification badge loads only after you separately allow it in Cookie settings. TrustedSite receives connection information, including your IP address and browser details, and counts visits to control the badge’s availability. Its trustedsite_visit cookie and local-storage marker last for 24 hours; its trustedsite_tm_float_seen cookie lasts for five minutes. The free plan’s display limit is 500 visits per month, so the badge may disappear when that limit is reached.
The badge is kept out of enquiry documents and hidden around interactive controls. Its verification link opens TrustedSite’s separate website rather than embedding its verification popup. TrustedSite is a US-based provider and may process information outside the UK. Read TrustedSite’s privacy policy for its processing and choices. Withdrawing badge permission clears the known local markers and refreshes a page that loaded it; this cannot recall information already received. A plain external verification link remains available without loading the badge.
Optional Google Analytics
Analytics is optional and off until you allow Google Analytics in Cookie settings. If you allow it, Google receives connection information such as your IP address, browser information and browser/session identifiers. It helps the clinic understand broad website sections and public actions such as navigation or contact-link choices. We group service and article pages into broad categories, without sending their full addresses, query strings, fragments or search words.
Google Analytics does not load on enquiry pages or in documents that have contained an enquiry draft. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry messages, form selections or medical details to Google Analytics. Enquiry submissions and bookings are not counted as Analytics conversions in this version. Advertising features, Google Signals and user-provided-data collection remain off.
Google may set _ga and _ga_* analytics cookies for up to 180 days; some expiry periods can renew with activity. Your permission lasts up to 180 days on this device. Withdrawing it in Cookie settings clears accessible Analytics cookies and refreshes a document that loaded the tag, stopping further collection. Information already received by Google cannot be recalled here. Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Read Google’s privacy policy.
Online enquiries
The clinic uses the name, contact details, service choice, preferences and short message you submit to respond to your enquiry and discuss next steps. Please leave detailed medical history, records and identifying case details out of the initial form. The form does not book an appointment or provide a clinical-record service. You can also telephone or email the clinic directly.
The form sends your enquiry through an AWS service and holding database in the London region. The existing Resend email provider sends the details to admin@psychcareonline.co.uk and a brief acknowledgement to the email address you provide. Resend stores and processes email data in the United States. Read Resend’s privacy policy. Email and clinic mailbox copies have their own retention arrangements; this website does not promise a fixed deletion date for them or for the initial holding copy. Ask the clinic for its separate patient privacy information about clinical records and your enquiry.
Your choices and rights
You can change or withdraw optional permissions in Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. This stops future optional loading; it cannot recall data already received by another provider. You may ask the clinic to access, correct or erase personal information, or restrict its use. Data portability may apply in some circumstances. The clinic may need to verify your identity before responding.
You may object to website processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the clinic using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
